1. You state Windows 2000 or 2003 in your product documentation. Is NT supported?

Yes, NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 installed is supported.

2. What version of Tomcat and JRE should I install?
|
We have tested ResCartaWeb with JRE 1.4.2 thru 1.5 and have tested Tomcat 5.02 thru 5.5. We would always recommend downloading the latest release version of both Apache Tomcat and Sun's JRE when installing this software on your server.

3. Will ResCartaWeb interfere with my IIS installation?
|
No, ResCartaWeb runs under the Apache Tomcat server, so there is no interaction with IIS.

4. What browsers are supported by ResCartaWeb?
|
This is the list of tested and confirmed browsers, but this does not mean ResCartaWeb will not run on your browser; it only means that listed browsers have been tested: IE6+, Firefox 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 Safari OS X Tiger, Netscape 4+.

Yes, ResCartaWeb has been tested on Fedora Linux Core 3 and Suse 8.0 thru 9.0.

6. When I perform a simple search, why won't the word(s) I entered highlight on the page in document view?
|
There is a known URL parsing bug in the ResCartaWeb servlet interface. This problem only occurs when a double forward slash is placed within the requesting URL. This works, http://mydomain.com/index.htm. This does not, http://mydomain.com//index.htm
